Brethren,

The January resignation of our Lodge Secretary, Craig Smith, due to health and personal reasons has left us sorting things out and trying to catch up on business.

At the Stated Meeting, held on Monday, January 28, Brother Scott Davis resigned as Senior Warden and stepped up to the position of Secretary. Thanks and congratulations to Brother Scott!

Brother Don Hoffman will fill in as Senior Warden for the remainder of this year, Brother Dennis Moye was elected as Treasurer in December, and Brother Thorn Neary was elected as Junior Warden. These Brothers have committed to working together this year to bring our Lodge back up to the level of excellence we have come to expect.

Meanwhile, our annual dues are now payable in the amount of $50.00 for the year 2008. If you have already paid your dues, thank you. If not, why not join us at to the next Stated Meeting on September 22 ? Or you may mail your check to PO Box 1622, and the new Secretary will mail your dues card back to you promptly.

We will be "Dark" July & August

Over the past few years, we have not enjoyed many successful fund raising activities. Our bank balance is a sad reflection of this. While we are planning new fundraisers and hoping to alleviate the situation, we could still use some help patching things up. If you can share a little extra with the dues, it would be very much appreciated.

This year we will also try to improve the atmosphere and comradeship at our Lodge, and have a little more fun all around. To this end, we are reinstating the "Family Dinner" at 6:00 pm before each Stated Meeting. We will try to have something entertaining and fun for family members and members of our Eastern Star and Job's Daughters who can attend these dinners.
