I would like to give due and timely notice that I will not be considered for Worshipful Master in the 2018 elections for the 2019 year. This should give suitable notice for those who seek further light in our craft by serving in the elected positions.
Our Grand Lodge has austere prerequisites for the election of the three pedestal positions. The aforesaid prerequisites are not insurmountable, but do involved devotion to study. Now, is the time to adequately prepare for a pedestal office. The Grand Lodge rules require that all candidates be fully qualified PRIOR to the election to the aforementioned positions.
Again, do not harbor a fear of the prerequisites as much of the work is redundant. In truth, it is just a matter of taking the time to practice that which you already know.
Practice sessions are available to all interested members at the Masonic Center in Sierra Vista each Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 6 PM. The sessions are conducted by proficient members of our craft who are most knowledgeable in our rituals. In addition, our Lodge will be open and instruction available to any interested Brother.
Our Lodge needs to fill the ranks of Leadership positions, now ! If you are interested, please inform the Worshipful Master. Masonic tradition and courtesy mandates that you make your intentions known to the Lodge.
The May 11, 2018 Club meeting went exceptionally well with our Guest Speaker Lady Gail Griffin. Lady Gail has an extensive Masonic Family tree over many years. Interesting to talk to her about that Family tree.
The Club will be dark for June, July, and August with one exception.
On July 29, 2018, the Cochise High Twelve Club will host the 7th Annual Ice Cream Social and will be held at the SV Masonic Lodge starting at 3 PM.
Everyone is invited to attend along with our Rainbow Girls and DeMolay Boys, and all Masonic Widows will be encouraged to attend. In the past, we asked those attending the ice cream social to consider donating a non-perishable food item for the Ft Huachuca Post Chaplains Ofc but they no longer accept food items. So, we'll continue to request food items only this time we will donate the food items to the Salvation Army Food Program.
The Rainbow Girls are collecting aluminum cans so if you have some to give please bring them to the ice cream social.
Thank you all for your continued support of the Cochise High Twelve Club #703. We'll celebrate twenty-five years as a Club at the ice cream social next year.

First and foremost I want to say THANK YOU to all the Brothers who were a part of the Masonic Funeral Assist Team during 2017, and before. The Team concept is the primary goal to ensure that ALL deceased Brothers have a funeral worthy and in recognition of their longevity and hard work to maintain the masonic principals. For 2017 we know of four Brothers and one Masonic Widow passed away. There were others and either there was no obit or funeral so some are not counted for the year.
To local Lodges and the Worshipful Masters for 2018 the Masonic Funeral Assist Team is available to assist the Lodge Officers in performing a Masonic Funeral or assisting with information and organizational procedures when requested. I can't stress enough how important it is to have an organized Masonic funeral in front of Family and Friends and to show all attending the funeral how we, as Masons, respect our deceased Brother.
Worshipful Masters, in the early 2018 the Funeral Assist Team can provide training to all Lodge Officers and Brothers in a variety of subjects all related to Masonic Funerals and in addition we can provide hand-outs to those attending.
We especially invite all Ladies of the Masonic Family. This training can be one or three hours depending on interest and participation. A few of the subjects are; the Masonic Funeral, what to expect from the Lodge, the Masonic Sacred Scroll, the Masonic Widows program, Memorial services, Masonic funeral kit and Q&A. Now is a good time to inventory the lodges funeral kit to ensure that all the equipment needed is available, clean and ready to go and should include a AZ Grand Lodges Funeral Service.
Any requests or information contact Andy Anderson (520) 234-3225
or by E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Everyone, stay healthy in 2018.
If anyone is interested in becoming a Member of the Masonic Funeral Assist Team contact Andy Anderson, this includes a Brother from any Lodge.
